I love scrolling through portfolios of local interior designers. What a goldmine I stumbled across in Allan Reyes, a Palm Beach architect and designer since 1994.
This room is STUNNING. I wish I could see more.
This is the same house, no? Lovely entry.
The ceiling completely makes this room, but the yellow is heavenly, right?
The mixture of styles in the furniture gives this room excitement.
Gorgeous sunroom...I would read in here for hours.
This gorgeous, soft palette of colors comes together so well to make a strong impact in this dining room. Reyes chooses bold artwork for his spaces...I'd love to learn more about the artists he uses.
Every single piece in this dining room is a bold choice, yet it comes together so smartly.
Adore the green and purple accent chair! And loving the bright pop of orange we can just barely see.
Very interesting selection of side tables and they definitely work here. I would like to see a different rug here, but what do I know.
Doesn't this look like the exact same space with different furniture? Wonder what the story is here. I like this art better than the first. Ahhh, perhaps it is the other side of the same room. (That's why they pay me the big bucks.)
I really enjoy all the color in this room...especially the apple green curtains. See, I really don't like this rug, yet it works well in this room. Is that a rug or an inlaid design in the floor?
Love the look of this bookcase with the gorgeous green chaises. The books are where you can comfortably reach without moving your rear. Now that's good planning.
How serene is this veranda? Again with the pop of orange. Lovely orange cushion is lovely.
I almost scrolled right past this kitchen, but something kept me here for a while. I thought it was the green chairs at first, and they are pretty awesome.
But I'm really digging the frosted glass cabinets!
Beautiful.
So soft and feminine.
What do you think of his work? Could you pick it out of a lineup? I don't think so, I think he is very well rounded although with a strong modern lean. I hope to learn more about this Palm Beach designer and share more pictures soon!
All of the sudden Baylor is obsessed with talking about our neighbor, Mr. Al. Night and day he randomly mentions "I don't like Mr. Al." We have no idea where this is coming from, Mr. Al is a very nice man. And Baylor has had next to no interaction with him...just watches his car drive by occasionally and comments "there goes Mr. Al!" Now it's all he can do to stop talking about how much he dislikes him (and he has never said that about anybody). We think it must be the beard! Poor Mr. Al.
what a unique kitchen!
ReplyDeleteI do like some of his work. Especially the first couple pics of that great room. It really helped me to think outside the box and that it is ok to mix styles of furniture. I have a gold carved chair of my mom's, like that bench in the picture, and it stands out a little but still blends. I hope to be able to do that with all my random GOOD pieces of furniture.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get in there and put all this random style together that I have put together in my head. Don't worry, I have a husband that will give me his opinion :)
