I took a little trip over to Tory Burch last week and what can I say...they pump euphoria through the vents in that place. The boutique is just dazzling and bold. I took this sad little picture of the dressing room drapes that I am completely nuts over.

My visit sent me googling more TB boutiques and OH MAN are they all stunning. I could do three posts and still not cover everything I'd like to say about them, but I won't because I'm not going to. However, these pictures gave me my three focus colors for the new guest bedroom.
Turquoise and green with some purple accents. Love the "preppy eclectic" combo, which TB just captures masterfully within her stores. Granted, you wouldn't want to live in a TB store unless you really enjoy migraines, so this will obviously be toned down dramatically. But the colors!

Um, hi! These girls were hanging out on a bar cart out in front of the store when I pulled up. They are so pretty and naked! This will serve as a fabulous inspiration piece for the guest room and until then will enjoy its current home on the chest in the living room. Next to the turquoise foos. M.F.E.O.
And here's how I knew I was to purchase this little lovely.
Bass is my maiden name...the boys in my family very often dubbed "Bass Man".
The girls, they're-a mine! (Can you read that in the silly cartoon-italian accent that is in my head?)
He has started mimicking me. In a bad way...that way that he thinks we are equals and he can say the same things that I say. "Give me 2 minutes!" "I said YES!!" "No I am NOT doing that."
LOL! Meli does the same thing. I can't help but giggle when she throws her arms out dramatically and says, "I am DONE with this! I am DONE!"
ReplyDeleteFunny, my boys say "I'm DONE with you!" On a good note, I tell them I love them...about every other sentence. Julian has made it his life to tell me back after every sentence. I get lots of smiles when we are in the grocery store line and he grabs my cheeks and says (quite loudy) "I llllooovvvveee yooooouuuu Mommy".

Thanks for dealing with my fabric world today. Got 6 samples...got home and hate them all. GREAT first day at the fabric store! How do I add color to tufted chairs? Everything that has color has a design, design and tuft are NOT friends.
