Love that there was a lot of color last night, but really sad that there weren't a lot of WOW dresses. Definitely some pretty looks though...here we go.
I just adore Amy Adams and that blue sequined dress is gorgeous but the necklace is all wrong, right? I don't understand that choice.

I loved Natalie Portman in this color. She looked beautiful and her speech was very sweet. Black Swan on the other hand....meh.

See I didn't see Scarlett's full dress last night and thought she looked gorgeous from the shoulders up with the messy bob and raspberry lace. But now that I see a full length picture that dress is not a good.

ReplyDeleteI thought Sandra Bullock looked great. Did not like Amy Adams, Blanchett, Johansan (sp?) and Sharon Stone. Nicole Kidman..ugh. Matthew needed a shave and could lose that 90's gel.
Loved Hathaway's red Valentino, tux and "fringe" dress. Reese Witherspoon..nice dress, Barbie-doll hair (bet if you pulled that ponytail, it would "grow")
Helen Mirren..gorgeous. Halie Berry..Wow.
Show overall..boring as shit! Three hours of my life I will never get back.
Scarlett was too tight - loved Cate, Gwyneth (please no more singing for her though)and Matthew's wife. Natalie was terrible & dear Lord please let me have Helen Mirren's figure when I'm 50.

Matthew Mcconaughey and wife - smokin' hot. Ann H - wow i'll take her wardrobe last night for the rest of my life...i mean how many times did she change her hair and dress. I liked Reese's dress and hair. The Hailee/Halle's were subtle and perfect! that girl in red looked great. And...excuse me...Jennifer Hudson - what she lost Oprah Found!
ReplyDeleteA bunch of my friends hated the Oscars. I don't get it. I thought Hathaway was great, Franco was so-so. I read somewhere that he was studying for a Graduate degree, and didn't rehearse as much as he could have. But, so what? They were funny, and there were some great moments. They all looked beautiful.
