This is Where We all Want to be This Morning, Right?

How does one measly hour throw us so completely out of whack?  It's Monday morning, the start of a new week with all kinds of new possibilities!!!  Riiight....I just want to get back in bed. But it's Spring Break down here which means no break for Mom Mom.

So if you're lucky enough to have a few extra lazy hours this morning, choose a bed, any bed.

I just painted my room this colour

I might as well tell you right now that I'm probably not choosing the one with the cat on it, but I hope we can still be friends!  Notice almost all the beds I chose are white....there is something so soothing, comfy and bleachable about white.

Oh, that last one has become a strong favorite.  After posting that picture here last month, one of my sweet friends (and in-the-know reader!) informed me that it's the beautiful work of Abbe Fenimore at Studio Ten 25.

And speaking of beds (we were, weren't we?  I'm so tired.), I got a call the other day that this BEAUTIFUL GIRL is currently trucking her way from California to my house right this instant.  I hope she stops at some little hole-in-the-wall diner in Oklahoma or somesuch for a basket of fried du juor.

Baylor Says...

Oh dear, WTH has struck our home.  Yes, my sweet little 2 year old is running around saying "What the heck??"  It's funny, but you can't laugh at it.  It's not awful, but surely that's not very nice.  As always, to determine whether to let him say this without punishment or to crack down right now I thought about how this exclamatory question would be received at his sweet little Christian preschool....Ummmmm, that's a big no.  I'm already the bad mom that never empties the backpack, so I'm going to try not to push it.

  1. Now, I LOVE that bed in the last picture! If you find out where that duvet comes from...let me know. I would be terrified of the white frame! Too many lazy days watching cartoons in my bed.

BTW, WTH is NOT allowed in this house. "what in the world" is maxed out! It is a bit wordier, but so funny because they say exactly like I do :)

  2. The Studio Ten 25 blog had a link recently about that duvet. I think is either West Elm or very similar to the one they have.

Love ya Lauren!!! I'm totally chillin' in the bed while the boys nap today. It feels ggggrrrreat!
