Things are moving along in the Big Boy Room! I couldn't be more excited, but I have a 2 year old peeking in multiple times a day to see if things are improving. They definitely are, but probably not speedily enough for Peepie.
Tom the wonder boy was here again last week, working his custom magic. Remember this inspiration photo?
I couldn't find shelves like these ANYWHERE. I searched high and low and nothing. Not a problem when you've got Tom and a picture.
Some of Baylor's pals giving the new shelves a test drive...
They are AWESOME!!! It's exactly what I wanted for the space, and the exact size that I asked for. Tom's all "sure, let me just call my steel guy and it shouldn't be a problem." Love that he has a steel guy.
Curtains will be hung this week and then one of these rugs will make the final cut.
Yeah, not that last one. If there was any way on earth I could possibly afford a Madeline Weinrib rug, it most certainly wouldn't be in my toddler's room. Live to dream another day.

Baylor Says...
Yesterday as Baylor woke from his nap, I sat in my room and typed everything I could hear him saying on the monitor..."Oh my gosh I said something so funny at the light store...I cracked up." (This kid has been to a few light stores, ha!) "I don't need glasses", "look at that Pirate man and that pirate dog...they are not funny." "What's wrong with my head?" "I hit the desk...why I hit the desk? I don't know." "I didn't see the park, we passed it", "Oh my gosh, there was a fire truck coming and I was standing there and I smacked up the fire truck and it don't woo woo no more." "I love to eat", and my favorite, when I finally got up and rushed in to get him: "I don't have a stinky diaper...oh yes, I smell it. I smell those cheerios. I don't like that diaper."
I was going to say the first or last one. Since not the last...then the first! :-)
