This isn't really news to me. I bought my living room coffee table from the collection, although it doesn't appear to still be available.
It was exactly the look I wanted and the price was insane...$150 I think. It was also available in the clear glass top but I chose the antiqued mirror version. I love it!
What a cute tufted chair! I really am a sucker for anything tufted. This one is actually on the pricier end (for HSN) at $399.95 and comes in 6 other colors (but how fun is hot pink!?!).
If I had a bigger bedroom (and my bed wasn't already tufted) I might get two of these for the end of my bed. I've always adored this picture from House Beautiful long ago.

I'm extremely sad to report that Baylor has moved on from "when I be big" comments to "when I am older". Who taught him this?? Who corrected my dear sweet peeps. I never ever correct his baby talk (not that there's much, the 2 year old speaks like a 30 year old). Anyway, yesterday when I told him that he could not wear my lipstick (only because Daddy would kill me...same with the pink crocs he wants.) he said "when I am older I wear makeup!"
Ok, this post was for me!!!! Only because Marsha is giving us 2 tufted (I learned the name for this from you) chairs that was Rob's grandmothers. However, they need to be recovered and I'm wanting them to be the accent chair to the restoration couch I showed you.
ReplyDeleteOK, that is where you come in. I am completely ignorant to fabrics. HELP!!!! I will give you details and I want YOU to help me, PLEASE! The chairs are amazing, and I know that I probably could get new chairs for the cost of redoing these...but it is all about history, right?
BTW, my boys are completely fascinated when I put on makeup and always comment how pretty I am after. Not sure if this is a good thing or not :). Yes, my boys have the most amazing eyelashes that get multiple compliments a day (girls would die over)...I just had to add a little mascara to them, hehehe!
I try to correct Meliyah's grammar when she says things like, "Her went to the store." I usually reply with, "SHE went to the store, huh?" But there are a few Meli-isms that I want to keep forever. She calls shots (at the doctor's office, you lush) "pokeys". And computer is usually abbreviated to "puter". I'm actually quite hoping pokeys will become the formal word for shots by the time she's a teenager.
