It should really be called my 'Wish List' but there's something about 'Priority List' that makes it sound a little more inevitable, right?
In no particular order, since I change my mind on what's most important about every 5 minutes....
Still craving a dining room bench, after I find my perfect dining room table.
I think we are close to installing wood floors upstairs. We have this curious landing area as an entryway at our front door and its my chance to do something FABULOUS. How great are these floors?
Our landscaping is in great need of help and I'm just crazy about the look of easy-to-care-for succulents. Minus the cacti.
I've got to get serious about organizing our closet! We are in trouble in there....maybe some fairies will work their magic overnight and I'll wake up to this?
Same goes for the Big Boy closet. I hesitate to even move him in without some organization in place.
We are ready ready ready to finish the Master Bedroom. It is time for drapes and I think we are going with ivory.
This picture sort of changed all of our previous plans. My husband was thrilled with it! Well, he nodded and said "sure that's nice". When I talk about decorating, all he really hears is "latin latin nuclear physics nuclear physics".
Most importantly (or at least it should be) I have got to organize our home office. Unfortunately it has served as a catchall for the last year as we redo all the other rooms in the house.
Not our actual office, but darn near close.
Ooooooh.....here's a pipe dream to close us out!
What's on your 'to do' list? How do you prioritize your wants? Cheapest to most expensive? The other way? I used to pick one thing to zero in on, and save incessantly until I could buy it, but I'm kind of all over the board right now.
Baylor loves to go upstairs with his Daddy while he gets ready for work. This morning he hollered down at me "oh you downstairs Mommy? Are you eating eggs?" I suppose I eat a lot of eggs.
Where is that dining room bench from?? Perhaps it could work on the end of my bed.....and chevron floors, hallelujah! Praise the Lord. Yes, you need to something totally fabu in your entryway.....Ahhh priorities...Life is Soooo Good!
ReplyDeleteI'm a one room at a time kinda girl. TABLE, TABLE, TABLE!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFunny you mention eating a lot of eggs. Calvin and Julian did a mother's day thing at school and my favorite food is (one said) soup and (the other said) sandwich. Oh yea, I'm fun!
One opinion about drapes that drape on the floor (as opposed to being perfectly hemmed to meet the floor) total dirt & dust catcher... so you may want to re-think ivory or the draping thing..... just a thought.
ReplyDeleteI am dying over that walk-in closet and kind of wishing I had been more creative with ours. The little closet has major waste of space. Take that from a family will ridiculously small closets.
Love all white but my anal retentive self could handle.
I'm a little ADD too...I'm always happier though when I focus on one room at a time and do it right. Those geometric floors in that kitchen are beyond fabulous! -Lauren from Material Girls
ReplyDeleteMy priority list starts with 'things that bug me the most' - these are then sub-catagorised into most expensive to cheapest! I am completely swooning over those chevron floors, I can't seem to figure out what they are? Marble or stone with an enamel coating? And don't even get me started on the kitchen in the last image! WOW!
