You Might Want to Sit Down for This

Oh how I've adored this chair for years.  You know you have it bad when you check out an old friend on Facebook, immediately identify the chair they're sitting in, and think "Dang, they must be rich!".  Obsess much?  I do, I love it.

The Oly Studio Hanna Chair.  The first time I laid eyes on it was about 5 years ago in a House Beautiful layout and the owners had customized it with a purple velvet seat cushion for their 'Winter Look'.  I wanted it bad.  Oh, guess what...depending on where you buy it, it can cost upwards of $2,500.  For. a. chair.

Another customized look...spots!

I know this is naive of me as a wanna-be decorator, but now almost every time I see this chair in a 'designer room' getting raves I tend to think "So what?! If I had that much money to spend on a seating area, I could throw a few Hanna chairs in there and it would look amazing too!"  It is a fantastic chair.

So cut to me still manically stressing over chairs for the husband's new office reception area.  Seriously I cannot make up my mind!!  These made it to the final rounds of discussion and I wanted to share (sharing is caring).

Siene Lounge Chair

No, it's not the same chair but by gosh to me it's the same fantastic look.  And for $469.  I actually adore the cane back and it gives you plenty of room for an accent pillow which I'm also slightly obsessed with.  We were considering it in chic black.

I've also long admired this version from Wisteria...look at that thick fluffy seat cushion.  It's on sale right now, but still a little pricier than the Home Decorator's version (which I honestly like a little better).

Do you love this chair like I do?  Overrated?  If you liked this post, you should be reading Copy Cat Chic on the reg.  She's got major hookups.

The Peeps has been intrigued by street signs lately and a few days ago started asking about the Walk/Don't Walk light.

Me:  "If you see a red hand, that means STOP.  Don't cross the street.  If you see a little white person walking, that means GO.  Time to cross the street!"

Him (many times a day now): "I see a white person crossing the street!!"

Sheesh.
