My favorite spread in Architectural Digest this month is the Manhattan pad prewar apartment of Richard Lambertson and John Truex, accessories designers for Tiffany & Co. In my head (and not in reality), this is what my house looks like...a collected, hodge-podge, sophisticated vibe I like to call Old Lady Chic.
“I don’t like the term eclectic,” says Truex, referring to the rooms’ stimulating mix of styles and periods.
“What about spontaneous?”
"I just buy something and figure out where it’s going to go." EXACTLY.
CRAZY about this simple kitchen.
How amazing is this wall color? So cozy.
What about you, do you enjoy spaces like this? Or do you prefer a serene, monochromatic look with less "stuff"?
Baylor loves sample day at Sam's. I don't even have to feed him after, score! He got a little cup of pasta the other day with a tiny little spoon and as he started eating he whispered to himself "I can handle it, I can handle it."
