That Was So Four Years Ago...

I was cleaning the other day and ran across a June 2007 issue of the now (sadly) defunct House & Garden Magazine.  It was their big 'New Tastemakers' issue and I couldn't wait to thumb through and see some old trends....not so much.  

Especially loved this NYC brownstone of designer Philip Gorrivan.  LOVE.

....and this Boston home of designer Mark Christofi

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but the blog world kinda acts like things are over in 10 minutes.  Do you see anything dated about these spaces?

We were on our way to a birthday party last weekend and it was  quite a long trip on the highway.  It was Sunday afternoon, I was tired. 

Me: "Uggh, I don't want to fall asleep while I'm driving!"

Him: "You can't fall asleep while you're driving, you don't have your blanket to snuggle up with."
