We had a fantastic weekend with friends and family in Oxford for the Ole Miss/LSU game...it has taken this long to recover, launder and break from Thanksgiving day prep.
Fabulous little bed and breakfast that we called home for the weekend (can you tell it was done up by a Houston designer? I knew immediately /pats self on back)....
All photos from their website.
Laughed and ate and laughed again with some forever girlfriends, husbands and my inlaws. And we brought the Peeps! Which was fun, but somewhat challenging as he is in a very special phase of life. The one where he likes to do what he wants to do.
But he got himself a Patrick Willis jersey, because it's what Mom wanted.
On our way to the Grove for some outstanding tailgating.
And with my handsome boys...
Yay! Now onto Thanksgiving....I'll be back for a roundup of our big day (don't give me the side-eye). I'm cooking up a storm today. I've already had a few major mishaps that I just can't wait to share.
What are you cooking??? What is the one dish that, without it, it wouldn't be Thanksgiving?
Baylor just had his first mashed potatoes. How is that possible?
This is where you help me out with little one issues. Our almost 3 year old has started crying at bedtime. He has never put a toe out of his big boy bed, nor have we ever had to go back into his room after putting him down...until now. Scared of the dark? Ghosts/Monsters? Playing us like fiddles? Help.
