Public Displays of Joy

How is 10 minutes at the airport enough to kill your already wavering Christmas joy?  Why do I let an overweight (even though it really isn't, Delta) bag put me into a tailspin?  I am currently sitting in Palm Beach International Airport silently praying to let. it. go.

How are you spending the holidays?  We will have 9 days of Chrismas in Dixie this year and I know one little Peeps that is very excited.

Let's talk Christmas cards!  I want to know what you do with yours?  In a pile on the kitchen counter counts...not very Deck the Halls, but it counts.  Do you hang them up for everyone to enjoy?  I'll show you what we do with ours at the end, but I need a new and creative way for next year so please share.  Some ideas from around the blogosphere:

And here's what we've done the last few years.  We've gotten so stinkin popular and for sure need more room next year. (Seriously did not notice the unevenness until I just uploaded the pics.)

I LOVE this idea of turning all your cards into a book.  Punch a hole in them, add a ring and some ribbons and then bring them out each year to look back and enjoy.  I'm definitely doing this.

Baylor rode a reindeer at a Christmas party on Sunday.  You can see the antlers, right?  What would have been awesome was if all the older people there would not have repeatedly called it a pony.  "Did you ride the pony, are you going to ride the pony?  Pony pony pony??"  Spoil sports.
