You Haven't Been Formally Introduced

You've caught glimpses here and there, and most certainly saw the old chair switcheroo in my Thanksgiving post, but I never officially posted about the change.

LOVE the print.  Is it a zigzag...or just a zig?

The cane backs have really grown on me.

I plan on giving them a glossy white makeover at some point (to contrast with the rustic cream table base), and a little gold glaze on the more mustard right now detail.

But all in all, I'm crazy about them.  What do you think?  I snapped them up from Decor Once More as soon as I laid eyes on them.  The sweet owner gave me the incredible story of how she ended up with them.  A lady came in and desperately wanted this Tommy Bahama style set (that I personally found to be incredibly unattractive, wow to each their own) and talked her way into a trade.  For these beauties!!  And a FAB lucite and glass table, which I obviously did not buy but it rocked.  Goes to show, everyone has different taste.  Good for me!

  Two more things on my wishlist, and my dining room is done.  For now.

In other home furnishing news, if you don't like me on Facebook (why?  WHY don't you like me on Facebook?) then you never saw pics of my fab vintage brass etagere.  I'm nuts about it and it's completely become a member of the family.  Totally fits in. *cough $40 cough*

He is sleeping until 8:00+ (8:45 yesterday!), taking 2+ hour naps, and for the most part, acting like an all around angel.  Aaand, I just killed in with my fat, braggy jinx.
