This is Where I Got That

You guys, I haven't been ignoring you!!  I cherish every single one of your comments and emails and that is the main reason I switched my commenting platform so that I can reply directly to you.  Many times new visitors find me through a link on another blog and they comment on an older post, and I hate to reply there because I never know if you will see my answer. Now you should get an email when I (or anyone else) reply directly to your comment.  Thank you, thank you for reading!!

The number one question I get in reader emails is "Where did you get that?!"  Here you go...these are the most asked about things in my house.

My dining room chandelier (soon to be the newest superstar in my entryway) is from Shades of Light.

The sofa in my living room is from Ikea.  I know, right?  Such a super cheap way to get a simple, clean look.

I found the large mirror randomly at my local Capitol Lighting.  

The two giraffe print chairs I found at a local estate broker (South End Estate Sales on Dixie Highway if you are in South Florida) and had them recovered.  I wish for the life of me I could figure out the fabric brand, but I don't know.  It was purchased at MAC Fabrics and I had the chairs reupholstered with G&G Upholstery in West Palm Beach.  They are affordable and do a fantastic job!!

In my family room, several people have asked about the zebra ottoman.  Unfortunately we bought it years ago at Z Gallerie, and it doesn't appear to still be available.  Here is a similar look from Amazon.

As far as some of the things I've picked up at local consignment or re-loved stores, I don't always share the store names because most of my readers aren't local to SoFla.  Part of the reason I post so often about these shopping excursions is to inspire people to shop their local thrifts!!  You never know what you will find.

That said, I will try to be better about local sources as well.  These Mitchell Gold slipcover chairs were purchased from True Treasures here in West Palm Beach.
