Yesterday's Trash or Treasure....umm, nobody cared? Well, a few of you cared. I wonder if the rest thought it was so heinously unattractive it didn't even merit the title of Trash? Or so awesome it was a stupid no-brainer. Hmmm...all 4 commenters liked it and they're all super cool so I'm going with Treasure.
And it's FREE! Because my neighbor is moving away and the person who gave it to her tried to sell it on Craigslist and had no takers. So she's just handing it over to me, woo hoo!!

Astute commenter Marcee had this to say:
I'm all for chaise lounges. I might even like leopard print. But I hate-hate-hate that rooms-to-go wood. The color, the pattern, the faux distressing makes me want to stab-stab-stab!
Agree Marcee, so agree. I wish there was a way to saw that arm off and chip away the little spiral detailing, but I doubt it. So to me, the only way to make this thing look awesome again (because it did once, circa 1998) is to give it a makeover with paint (of course) and a super bold, uber-trendy fabric. Now you know why I was talking about Studiobon fabric last week....I think Fuzz in Candy would be PERRRRRFECT for this job!
Some other trendy fabrics that caught my eye.
What do you think?? Thanks for playing Trash or Treasure this week!

If you don't check out House of Turquoise regularly, you're missing out. Unless you hate the color turquoise in which case it's clearly not for you. Anyway, you've got to go check out yesterday's post on this 1907 South African farmhouse redo that was featured in House and Leisure. It's f-f-f-fabulous!
Oh look, speak of the devil! (totally didn't realize there was a chaise in this pic until I went to link it, swear)
Won't you have a wonderful Wednesday?? I'm cleaning out the garage.
Baylor has never been big on singing. Once in a blue moon he will sing the alphabet and he did go on a tear where he sang God Bless America 50 times a day...but he's never been one of those toddlers that sings all the time. Anyway, he just started actually singing along with music which is so fun. Not after it, but along with the song. I know that's a silly little thing but I've been waiting. Now we can sing together since he's the only person on the planet that actually likes when I sing.
