These Things I Will Consider

A thought that I want to share:  when you are trolling through the antique shops, don't run out the door at the first price tag you see.  You really can find some well priced treasures.  Seriously, I don't know if they don't know what they're doing or I don't know what I'm doing (I'd be willing to venture a guess), but I've seen some good stuff that was well within my price range after seeing $16k chandys in the window.  Press on.

Some lovelies I'm considering for my home...

I've been searching endlessly for a large leaner to go in our master bedroom.  I LOVE this faux horn, and it's slim which is different.  Do you like?

I wouldn't say I'm considering this artwork, unless considering copying it counts.  I'm kidding-ish.

This was a really beautiful Turkish kilim rug/runner for $400.  12' x 5'.  Y'all, you can't buy a replica kilim that size for 4 times that.  Well, maybe you can but I haven't seen it.

The colors are gorgeous...pinks and greens and rusts and oranges.

Then there was this gilt gold frame for dirt cheap that I could always have a mirror cut to fit.

Stop it....look at this one.  I'm not even in the market, but these kilims were everywhere it seemed, and SO well priced.  This one was 5'8" x 9'ish and amazing.  I need to go measure but this could definitely find a home in my hallway.

The colors are beautiful!  

This particular store had an armoire full of them, so pretty.  I love seeing these draped over sofas and chairs for a textural addition to a room.

Oh the dining room drama continues....I absolutely adore these chairs.

Right?  How about that lucite table?  Not for me, but you know.  If those side chairs weren't cane back (which I love!), I think I'd get them without hesitation. I just think with my table situation I need some color showing on top since they'll be on the wall side of my table.  Confused?  Me too.

Don't you love the purply reddish pink zig zag fabric??  Pretty great stuff on the brain.  What's on your shopping list?
