Thanks for letting me have a breather...and super major thanks for all your kind words about my chaise lounge. That made me feel so good, I can't tell you. I said something about Chase bank yesterday (2 bank accounts hacked in the last 2 weeks, I'm just saying) and Peeps said "chaise lounge?" Ha, you think I've been talking about chaise lounges a bit?
P.S. Did anyone catch this foreshadowing? Yes, I'm a 10th grade English dork.
I needed a couple days to catch up...do you know I let myself be sick for 3 and 1/2 weeks before I finally went to the doctor? Am I the only mother out there that doesn't allow themselves to be sick? I say that...but what else are we really supposed to do. I mean, we don't really have understudies, do we. Anyway after all that time and not getting any better I finally was stressed with a capital BUMMED and decided I better go find out what was wrong with me: "You are very sick. You have severe blahbity blah with a case of the dumbs and you would be going to the hospital today if it wasn't for blah blah pneumonia blah". But you know what is amazing?? How fast a shot and and some medicine packs can change your life.
OKAY.
So do y'all read Matchbook?

Matchbook is like when the hipster decided preppy and girly was cool and maybe got married (or is about to get married or maybe will be a single gal forever and that's cool too!) and had a bunch of hipster but preppy kids and now it's time to decorate and throw a party. Yay! So super fun, and HELLO Jonathan Adler is on the cover so sign me up.
Loved the feature on the Greenbrier, one of the most beautiful and amazing places I've ever had the privilege of visiting.
And since I'm an insatiable reader, I LOVED the list of the 50 Classic Matchbook girl novels. #1?
Is it bad that I've never heard of it?
Also, please come join me for 29 Days of Love on my Facebook page...

Each day I'll share something that I'm loving right now, and something I've done that day to love on my home and/or family. Come share what you're doing for love month, won't you?

What else did I miss?
A police car passes by us on the road the other day:
Him: "Mom, I don't think I'm going to call them 'woo-woos' anymore...I'm just going to call them lights from now on"
Me: "What? No way, we are calling them woo-woos forever."
Him: "Nope, I just don't want to anymore. They're lights now."
Choked sob.
