If there weren't more important things in this world to be upset about, I'd be curled up today in a ball. I mean I only started this blog talking about my plans for our master bedroom redo. That was a big fat YEAR AGO. The only thing I've accomplished in there are some dark purple paint swatches that have long since been scrapped but have yet to be covered with primer. ARRRRRGH.
So you may or may not remember that I chose this fabric for our curtains. I love.
After spending the better part of 6 months trying to track down the 6 remaining yards I needed of this discontinued fabric, my seamstress now says that I'm about 4 yards short due to repeat issues and length. I don't understand, she might as well be speaking in car mechanic latin. More fabric is not happening, just trust me.
Should I start over? Should I just get over myself and have an 8-inch band at the hem in another fabric? But what? I know I know, I could just match an ivory linen....meh. As much as I love it, my heart is deflated and leaning towards just finding something else entirely.
Have you run across a fabulous fabric lately that I should use?
Can I still put this awesome pink stuff on my ceiling?
It's time to make a decision and I feel paralyzed.
oh no! :( I hate it when you've envisioned something so perfectly for so long & it's just not going to happen... but, I'm the eternal optimist- you HAVE to find 4 more yards!!! you will!!!! ;) and...ooooooo! What's that pink stuff all about???? prettty!!
