Other Bedroom Elements

You guys ROCK.  Thanks for all your constructive and inquisitive comments and emails on my curtain dilemma.

Since most of you asked...here's a quick and dirty on what's in the room now, and what my basic plans are/were.

This is our bed.  We love it.



Our aged brass and teak bedside tables.

The chartreuse and ivory stripe fabric intended for curtains. (I found some more...we may be full-steam ahead unless the lots don't match up.)

A few other colors...the pale pink as an accent whether through pillows, an amazing velvet covered end-of-bed bench.  Who knows?  BM's Gentleman's Gray for our existing armoire.

The walls will be an almost white with just a hint of lilac.



We have dark wood floors.



This chandelier is already hung.  It's a dark bronze.



Everybody wanted to know what this is.  It was going to be my big la-di-da surprise but I don't keep secrets well.  It's a super AMAZING crushed mica wallpaper that will cover the ceiling.  The pink, don't you think?



I'm going for soft and elegant with some bold hits of color (duh, chartreuse).  Like I said the fabric may still work for us afterall...my workroom (doesn't that sound so much more bigtime than "seamstress"?) is concerned that the new batch won't match.  I'm probably going to just pull the trigger and hope for the best.

If not, Plan B is to start completely over.
