Will & Grace & Grandpa Chic

I'm sick.  Again.  I know...apparently I'm not alone in having been coughing since the calendar turned to 2012.  

So I've been hunkered down and watching Will & Grace reruns.  They made a joke about Yahoo! Maps and I felt real old.  Oh and Will & Grace was pretty racy for it's time, I must say.

I always adored their apartment.  Even before I ever cared about what stuff looks like.  So layered and awesome and collected .  You know how I always say I love Grandma chic?  To me, this is Grandpa chic.  Lovely and fabulous yet overtly masculine. The set was designed by Melinda Ritz.  These are the best pics I could find on the interwebs, so use a bit of your memory, okay?

 

The apartment set was donated at show's end to Emerson College, where it sits in the library.

 

My favorite part was that little tv nook in the back (and I'd love to recreate the dining room set with these)...I'm sure if they could afford that apartment, they might have afforded a bigger television.

I ordered a fisheye wide-angle lens, and as soon as I can figure out how it works I have a gorgeous new addition to my home to show you.  Woohoo!!!
