Oh yeah, we live a life of total leisure, the Peeps and I. We tagged along with the husband this weekend to Marco Island....he worked and we beach vacationed again.
Other than an alarming Amex bill, I came home to this sadness.
My beloved BRAND NEW fiddle leaf fig
BOO!! I don't know if it was the 3 days I had the drapes closed while we were gone? I doubt it, the thing started getting little brown spots from the first day I brought it home. Uggh, so glad I only paid 20 bones for it.
Also came home to some Lonny goodness.
Christy Ford of And George shared her amazing home.
Love the random setup of this living room! I wonder if I have the nerve to be so creative?
And a home done up by Jamie Meares of Furbish and I Suwannee. This sunroom is pretty comfy.
How much does this nursery ROCK? Lucky baby.
And another fantastic example of mixing your older, more traditional dining room furniture with modern stuff to jazz it up and love it all over again. Remember when we talked about that? Funky fresh.
What did you do this weekend? Did everyone have a WONDERFUL Mother's Day???
3 years, 4 months, 21 days
On the way to school this morning, we saw a truck with its back glass broken out and replaced with a trash bag and duct tape. We played a little game coming up with different ideas of how it might have gotten that way. I was creative! Each scenario that Baylor came up with involved a different type of car hitting it. Pretty standard..."maybe a Ford Mustang hit it...maybe a Dodge Ram hit it..." etc.
I told him to get a little more creative:
Him~ "I know! Maybe a Chevrolet Camaro SYMBOL broke off and flew into the glass and broke it! You know, the SYMBOL."
Welcome back! I could use a dose of the beach right about now!! Sad fig tree:( good thing it was a bargain!
ReplyDeleteLoved these rooms in Lonny!
