Do You Have Vision?

You are all skeptical about my gazelle heads, I know.  Baylor is too...at 2 years old he has already mastered the side-eye.  

Since I added the fabulous brass etagere to my family room, the ikea bookshelf and all of my paperbacks were relegated to the upstairs landing.

The bookshelf got a fresh coat of Benjamin Moore Gentleman's Gray, a rich peacock blue that I'm hoping to use on a large piece of furniture soon and wanted to give a test drive.  Approved.

The gorgeous wool turkish rug was snapped up at Decor Once More.  Settle down, I know she's a little off center, but she perfectly hides the extension cord from our garland lights on the stairs.

And I picked up this pretty Chagall print this morning at Sustained Style for the Home.

Are you scared that every wall in my house is going to eventually be covered with a 'gallery'?  Me too.  It's a bit of a problem

The BEST part about blogging is having such amazing readers.  Seriously, y'all rock. Remember this rug I posted about?  I'd been stalking its 'sold out' status on Overstock for months and then just last week noticed that they pulled it completely from the site.

Well, aren't I just the luckiest blogger in all the land.  Sweet reader Linda sent me an email Saturday morning that my rug was going up on Gilt.  Can you believe that?? How thoughtful to see that and think of me.  And thanks to Steve Jobs, I got the email while running around town and was able to quickly snatch it up before it sold out.  She's coming home to me in a few weeks (the rug, not Linda)!!  XOXO Linda XOXO
