Still I can't let go. (Seriously, I just kind of got used to writing 2011. This is old amirite?) Fun fact: I worked at The Buckle in high school and Boyz II Men came through one fateful Friday night. I sold one of them a jacket, and he wears it in the End of the Road video.
Ahhh, 2011. I started blogging. Did anything else happen? Think think think. Nope! So let's take a Today Show style look back at my top 5 posts (top as in most read not most interesting although who's to say?).
Two entries about my powder room redo made the top 5, due mostly in part to the feature on Simply Seleta. Wasn't that sweet of her? I 100% based the redo on a simple picture she posted randomly one day.
See, readers complain when there's no 'new content' on blogs, but pay attention to the pretty picture posts too. They just might change your life finally give you that inspiration you've been looking for.
You know what is so lame? I don't think it's changed. Has it? I need to go check but I think no. I really need a Little Giant so I can make some progress. This is great timing actually because I've got some cool stuff I want to add and am going to throw caution to the wind and DIY it for you again. Don't be scared.
I know, again. Apparently y'all are most interested in the work in progress since this post was clicked on considerably more than the After post. May I please reiterate here that my handyman built this paneling from absolute scratch based only on a measly little blog picture I printed out? Impressive.
I have no explanation for why this post was so darn popular. Surely it was linked up somewhere that I'm not aware...I don't really do the stats check thing. Well, except right now to find out which posts were most read. Much more popular than my actual closet redo was. Well, that redo is most popular in my house which is all that counts.
Anti-climactic? Perhaps. My (by a whole lot) most read post was about another blogger. When I first started Baylor Says... most of my readers were friends and family that had never read any other blogs, so I wanted to introduce them to the best out there. And Joni is, by a whole lot, the best out there. She's always been gracious and kind (I'm not afraid to email her and ask really annoying questions since she always either has the answer or can research it expertly), but I really caught her on a good day with this post because she sent me the SWEETEST thank you email and then posted a link on her extremely well-read blog. Thus all the clicks.
There you have it (in my best Casey Kasem voice), the top 5 posts of 2011. They are random! Stay tuned later for more not-so-random....I'll show you the posts this year that received the most questions/emails/comments what have you.
Do you recall a favorite post? Which post brought you to my blog?
Go check out what some other fun bloggers have been up to in 2011 at my friend Ange's linkup:

Baylor got in his YaYa's jewelry stash and came out with a hoop earring around one of his little fingers....
Me: "Baylor, go put YaYa's earring back and don't get in her stuff again, okay?"
Him: "But I have to have it...I'm married to the 4 wheeler."
